Elaine Walters

Elaine Walters has extensive experience in development and media, currently serving as a Development Associate at InReach since January 2015, where responsibilities include writing grants, building relationships with foundations and businesses in the Charlotte area, and advocating for the IDD population. Previously held the position of Job Development Associate, focused on enhancing the skills and employment opportunities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Prior to InReach, Elaine worked at Katz Media Group as an Advertising Account Executive, managing advertising sales for a diverse clientele, and at WIS-TV as an Account Executive, where advertising sales for various local and national clients were accomplished. Elaine began a career in media as a Media Buyer at D'Arcy MacManus and Masius, managing media for major markets in the Southeast. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology and Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, along with earlier studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
