Mikkella McIlwain

Mikkella Mcilwain is an experienced professional in direct support and education, currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at InReach NC since November 2021, focusing on assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior to this role, Mikkella worked as a Teacher at The Goddard School, where skills in teaching English, Spanish, and other developmental areas were utilized, and as a Lead Teacher at La Petite Academy, managing a positive and engaging classroom environment. Mikkella has also gained customer service experience in the fast food industry at Bojangles' and Jack in the Box, and has provided elder care as a PCA at Carillon Assisted Living. Mikkella holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allen University.
