Mark Gardella

Mark Gardella is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience in the property and casualty sector. Serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Sertis since June 2022, Gardella leads a pioneering managing general agency specializing in commercial insurance for the multifamily industry across 15 states and the District of Columbia. In addition to this role, Gardella is part of the founding team and serves as a Senior Advisor at InRev, focusing on transforming surety and construction insurance. As the Founding Principal of Zephyr Innovation Advisors, Gardella provides advisory services to startups and established firms in the insurance industry. Previously, Gardella held significant positions at Markel, AIG, and Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, contributing to digital innovation, program development, and strategic partnerships. Gardella holds an MBA in International Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and has further education in Organizational Design for Digital Transformation from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
