Jhilam Dash has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry. Jhilam founded Insemi Technology Services Private Limited in 2012 and served as the Founder Director. Prior to that, they worked at Synopsys (Smartplay) as a CAD Engineer, where they were involved in DRC and LVS debugging, as well as ICC Lynx flow qualification. Jhilam also worked at LSI Corporation as a Consultant in the PDK team, where they coded runsets, debugged, and created test cases for TSMC 45nm and 28nm. Earlier in their career, they were an Associate Product Engineer at Magma Design Automation, where they gained expertise in layout creation, standard cell layout, unit QA structures, and automation for Design Rule Manual. Jhilam also had a good understanding of Calibre, Quart (Mojave) commands, and the digital design flow and manufacturing process.
Jhilam Dash earned an M.Sc degree in Computer Science from Periyar University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005.
