Mandalyn Gilles, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Mandalyn is currently the Director of Research at InsideTrack, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Old Dominion University from 2016 to 2022 as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership, as well as the Director of Assessment & Planning for Student Engagement & Enrollment Services. Before joining Old Dominion University, Mandalyn served as a Program Evaluation Specialist at Virginia Beach City Public Schools in 2015. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at James Madison University as an Assessment Consultant in the Center for Assessment and Research Studies. Mandalyn also gained experience at Longwood University, where they held the roles of Policy and Planning Specialist / Report Specialist in the Office of Assessment and Institutional Research from 2010 to 2012 and Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2012. Mandalyn'searly career includes a role as Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Hampden-Sydney College from 2008 to 2010.
Mandalyn Gilles, Ph.D. completed their education at James Madison University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, with a focus on Assessment and Measurement. Prior to that, they attended Longwood University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Education, specializing in Community and College Counseling. Mandalyn began their academic journey at Longwood University, where they received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics.
