Insight Commons is a public online platform providing deep insights on key global issues and challenges. 

You can access a vast repository of specialized documents and datasets that are hard to find using conventional search tools. You can also upload your own documents for analysis. Advanced full-text search capabilities and automated summaries saves you time cutting out unnecessary scrolling and reading of irrelevant material.  

Insight Commons uses AI to generate insights on topics such as conflict, food insecurity, gender-based violence, climate change, migration, elections, and more. You control the quality of the documents and data that are used to generate insights, so you can avoid Garbage-In-Garbage-Out. You can use the Research Assistant answers difficult and specific questions based on a subject-specific Commons. All the answers are traceable back to the source. 

Insight Commons is designed for sharing and collaboration, although you can use it for purely private or corporate purposes if you wish. We aim to generate rich discussions and debates on hot topics and contentious issues. You can quickly develop and share a Commons with colleagues or friends.

Insight Commons users include researchers and people working for international and local organizations. You can use it to review specialized literature, write project proposals, design projects, understand rapidly evolving disaster and conflict situations, assess regulatory compliance and more.

The software is free to all users and we encourage you to share it and check out all the public content. We start charging for some private and corporate use, but Insight Commons is and will always remain, a public good.
