Carrie Wooten

Carrie Wooten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in learning and development, organizational psychology, and law enforcement. Currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Insight Global since April 2022, Carrie previously held the role of Chief of Staff at Mainland and served as President of NexGen Training & Development. With a strong foundation in law enforcement, including roles as a Police Officer with the City of Virginia Beach and Wrightsville Beach, Carrie has developed skills in crisis intervention, community policing, and leadership. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University and a Professional Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Notable accolades include the Class Act Award, Life Saving Award, and a Chief of Police Commendation Letter.
