Chandra Gopinathan

Chandra Gopinathan, CAIA, currently serves as the Head of Responsible Investment Research at Insight Investment since December 2024 and is a member of the Technical Advisory Group for the Science Based Targets initiative. Previously, Chandra held significant roles at various organizations, including Steering Committee Member at the Transition Pathway Initiative and Senior Investment Manager at Railpen, where responsibilities included overseeing multi-asset credit strategies and developing net zero climate strategies. Chandra has also contributed as Chair of the Asset Owner Working Group for the Transition Plan Taskforce and has extensive experience in structured finance from roles at Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Moody's Corporation. Chandra completed a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia Business School in 2000.
