Aayush Setty

Aayush Setty is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in research, machine learning, and investment management. Currently serving as a full-time employee at InvestorInsight Partners since March 2023, Aayush previously held positions at Rhode Island Hospital as a Neurophysiology and Computational Psychology Researcher in the Asaad Lab, focusing on deep brain stimulation and its effects on Parkinson's Disease patients. Additional research experience includes work as a Machine Learning Researcher and Developer in the Spinal Outcomes Lab, where Aayush contributed to the analysis and publication of surgical outcomes. Aayush has experience in venture capital as Co-External Managing Director and VP of Stakeholder Management at Van Wickle Ventures, where Aayush established investment management processes. Aayush also served as a Peer Entrepreneur in Residence at the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship, mentoring students, and worked as an Investment Analyst at The MagpieX MedTech Accelerator. Aayush holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math - Computer Science from Brown University and completed high school at North Gwinnett High School.
