Cooper Rey

Cooper leads sales for Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) clients across the Global Markets Division (GMD), including managing both the product and custody sales teams within the Private Investor Products Group (PIPG) and the Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions (GSAS) RIA Custody business. In addition, he manages the RIA Execution Services desk for GSAS. Cooper joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 as an analyst in Equity Derivatives Operations before joining GMD in 2011 as a member of PIPG. He was named managing director in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Cooper worked as a paralegal at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from 2006 to 2008. Cooper earned a BA in Economics from Columbia College in 2006.
