Ari-Pekka Oksavuori began their work experience in 2003 as a System Engineer at Tampere University of Technology, where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined Insta DefSec Oy as a Senior System Specialist, and later became the Chief System Specialist in March 2019. In 2016, they also became a GIAC Advisory Board Member at GIAC.
Ari-Pekka Oksavuori obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology from 2000 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA) from GIAC Certifications in May 2020, SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2017, GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from GIAC in April 2016, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in March 2013, and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) from GIAC in April 2012.
