Mika Suvanto has a strong background in the field of security and network management. Mika started their career at Tietokesko Oy in 1998 as an Operator. In 2002, they became a Partner at Digilion ay. From 2003 to 2005, they worked part-time as a Software Developer at Mikko Vahanen Oy. In 2005, they joined CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd. as an Application Specialist, where they played a crucial role in building federated identity management systems. Mika worked at CSC until 2010. Since then, they have been with Insta, initially as a Senior Network Security Specialist and currently as the Chief Security Specialist.
Mika Suvanto obtained their M.Sc. degree in Network programming & security from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. In 2012, they also earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Later, in 2017, they acquired the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) and the SAFe 4.0 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
