Avnish Gungadurdoss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development and public sector performance management. As Managing Partner, Co-Founder, and Board Member of Instiglio since September 2011, Avnish drives initiatives to enhance government effectiveness for improved social and environmental outcomes. A Visiting Fellow of Practice at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford from January 2022 to March 2023, Avnish previously served as a Performance Management Advisor for Shiree (DFID), where expertise was applied in creating learning frameworks and evaluation techniques for innovative projects. Avnish also contributed to The World Bank as a consultant focusing on social protection programs in Bangladesh, and at MIT Jameel Poverty Action Lab, led a significant field study to evaluate a voter awareness campaign in India. Avnish holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Dartmouth College.
