Christoph Konrad has extensive experience in the fields of automation technology and software engineering, currently serving as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Lehrstuhl FAPS since November 2019, focusing on automation research. Previous roles include Technologiefeldkoordinator and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in the area of home automation, and a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Lehrstuhl für Fertigungsautomatisierung und Produktionssystematik, where responsibilities included overseeing a smart home lab, developing reinforcement learning projects, and contributing to workshops and publications. Early career experience includes positions in various engineering disciplines, internships in interior and exterior development at EDAG, and a bachelor’s thesis on hybridization and electrification in vehicles at Bertrandt. Christoph holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.
