Betsy Gibbons

Betsy Gibbons serves as the Director of Teen Programs at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston since August 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing educational programs for teens, leading initiatives in teen arts education, supporting staff, building partnerships with community organizations, and managing budgets and grants. Previous experience includes roles as a Teen Programs Management Consultant at the same institution, Researcher & Project Manager for a catalogue raisonné at Craig Richardson Studio, and Associate Educator for Teen Programs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Earlier positions at the New-York Historical Society included Director of School Programs and Manager of Secondary & Post-Secondary Education. Betsy holds a Master of Arts in Medieval Studies from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Anthropology from New York University.
