Christina Roma Leffmann is an experienced professional in the field of support services, particularly for individuals with disabilities. Since January 2019, Christina has led a peer support group for those with newly acquired disabilities at the Center for Independent Living, addressing a significant gap in community resources for this demographic. Additionally, Christina has served as a Transitions Specialist, collaborating with long-term care facilities and consumers to facilitate transitions to independent living. Christina also engages with older adults as a volunteer on the Friendship Warmline and as a Crisis Counselor, offering emotional support and resources. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Intensive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with various training and volunteer experiences across different organizations dedicated to advocacy and support for vulnerable populations.
