Carissa Johnston

Carissa Johnston, MS Ed., currently serves as a Customer Support Administrator at Instructure, where responsibilities include data and project management, onboarding new accounts, and managing small data-entry teams. Previously, Carissa held the position of Interim Support Manager, overseeing a team of Technical Support Supervisors and frontline agents. Carissa's career includes extensive teaching experience, having instructed chemistry at Baldwin School District and Eastport South Manor CSD, as well as high school science in the NYC Department of Education. Additional roles include teaching forensics and adult education, alongside tutoring in writing, while holding degrees in Secondary Science Education and Forensic Science.
