Monica Zeynalzadeh

Monica Zeynalzadeh is a Field Application Scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies since October 2022, focusing on gene editing and gene therapy solutions. Previously, Monica served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2017 to December 2021, leading projects on DNA variants and CRISPR-Cas9-mediated zebrafish models, resulting in two manuscripts and six conference presentations. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from April 2016 to August 2017, contributions included functional analysis of genetic variants in metabolic diseases and participation in the NC NEXUS project, which aimed at newborn screening. Earlier experience as Co-Principal Investigator at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences involved a clinical study on Maple Syrup Urine Disease, earning a publication and a research scholarship. Monica Zeynalzadeh holds a PhD in Genetics from North Carolina State University and an MD from Azad University.
