Peter McElheny is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in semiconductor technology and business development, currently serving as Sr. Director of Business Development at Intel Foundry Services since November 2015. In this role, Peter drives strategic account engagement and ensures program execution while resolving customer-related conflicts. Previously, as Foundry and OSAT Strategy Director within Intel's Global Supply Chain, Peter developed holistic strategies to ensure product quality and supply continuity. Peter also led a team to enhance next-generation FPGAs in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group and held a significant role at Altera, focusing on CMOS and FLASH/EEPROM technology development. Early career experiences include positions at Silvaco Japan and the Electrotechnical Laboratory in Japan, where Peter contributed to TCAD customer support and conducted R&D in PECVD processes. Peter holds a PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Penn State University.
