Uppili Srinivasan, fondly known as Upps, has been a key figure in the development of what is now Intellect Design Arena for thirty years. Starting in 1992 soon after his graduation from BITS, Pilani, Srinivasan had many successes at Citicorp Overseas Software unit (COSL). He then became a key figure in Polaris, a large Business Solution Center, and most recently has been a senior leader with Intellect Design Arena, where he has donned multiple caps, from Pre-Sales, Solutioning, Engineering, Delivery to Business Leadership – all successfully. Srinivasan also has many wins and accolades to his credit: he has been a part of every significant deal that the business has won in its journey
From designing Intellect’s first Digital product, Contextual Banking Experience (CBX) – which has been licenced by many banks, is used by corporations throughout the world, and remains at the technological edge with its latest MACH-compliant incarnation – to delivering the liquidity platform from Intellect Global Transaction Banking (iGTB) that runs over $4 trillion sweeps and $35 trillion notional pools per annum, he has worked on practically every single IP platform of COSL/Polaris/Intellect, from Core Banking to Lending to Corporate Banking. Srinivasan now leads one of the key successful business units that power Intellect’s success in the Western hemisphere
