Jun Yao

Jun Yao is a Senior Scientist and Team Lead at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. since October 2022, previously holding positions as Scientist and Team Lead. Prior to this, Jun Yao was a Postdoctoral Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine from September 2017 to October 2022, focusing on mechanisms of adrenal disease and the identification of novel drug targets and biomarkers for congenital adrenal hyperplasia through various analytical techniques. Additionally, Jun Yao served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from April 2016 to August 2017, where the focus was on identifying factors regulating heterochromatin. Jun Yao holds a PhD in Genomics, Genetics, and Bioinformatics from Auburn University and a Master’s degree in Endocrinology from Ocean University of China.
