Fannie Makhokha has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and technology. Fannie started their career in 2009 as a Tutor at Vaal University of Technology. In 2010, they joined Molo Afrika Speech Technologies (Pty) Ltd as a Software Developer and worked there until 2013. Fannie then moved on to Ocular Technologies (Pty) Ltd where they served as a Software Developer from 2013 to 2014. Following that, Fannie worked at Foneworx as a C Developer / Systems Developer for a brief period of four months in 2014. Fannie then joined ByteEng Technologies (Pty) Ltd as a Software Engineer for a short period from November 2014 to January 2015. In the same year, they worked at XContent (Pty) Ltd as a Software and Solution Developer from February to March 2015. Fannie's next role was at SKA South Africa where they worked as a Telescope Operator from April 2015 to March 2017. Currently, they are employed at Intelligent Debt Management as an Application Developer starting from April 2017.
Fannie Makhokha obtained a National Diploma in Engineering, specializing in Computer Systems, from Vaal University of Technology from 2007 to 2010. In 2012 to 2013, they attended Tswane University of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Systems. Recently, from 2018 to 2021, Fannie pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of the Western Cape.
