Javier Rivera is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration and network engineering, currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at Intelligent Waves since September 2019. With a strong background in enterprise-level health and status monitoring tools, Javier has expertise in designing and configuring various system components, particularly using VMware vSphere and Zenoss. Previous roles include Network Engineer at Telos Corporation, Software Licensing Manager and SharePoint Administrator with the United States Air Force, and IT Specialist at the 4th Brigade (Health Services). Javier also has military experience with the Puerto Rico Army National Guard as an Audio and Visual Information Manager and J6 Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing network infrastructure and providing user support. Education includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Science from Excelsior University and studies at Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico.
