Sam Tameru

Sam Tameru is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in sustained engineering and aircraft analysis. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Sustaining Engineering at Intelsat since December 2020, Tameru previously held similar leadership roles at Gogo from September 2016 to December 2020. Tameru's expertise in the aerospace sector includes positions at Aviation Partners Boeing, where roles included Lead for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Certification Analysis and Stress/Damage Tolerance Analysis Engineer. Career beginnings included engineering and mechanic roles at TIMCO Aviation Services and Ethiopian Airlines. Tameru holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, as well as a diploma in Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics from Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Academy.
