Marine Guémas

EDA Developer at INTENTO DESIGN

Marine Guémas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and research areas. Marine started their career in 2009 as a Research Intern at the Team Imagerie Géophysique des systèmes complexes, where they conducted an experimental study on acoustic propagation through bubbles cloud. Marine then moved on to the Institut of physics Rennes as a Research Intern, focusing on a research project related to physics.

In 2011, Marine began their Ph.D. research at Saint-Gobain Recherche, conducting 2D numerical simulations on the dynamics of bubbles and solid bodies near a surface in melting glass. Marine used a boundary-element method coupled with a front-tracking technique for this project. During this time, they also served as a Co-organizer for an international congress called BeTeQ 2013.

Marine continued their Ph.D. research as a Ph.D. Researcher at LadhyX from 2011 to 2014. Marine'sresearch focused on examining the interface evolution and drainage of a film between bubbles and a surface. Marine also took on the responsibility of coordinating a three-day international congress during their time at LadhyX.

In 2012, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at ENSTA ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées. Additionally, they gained practical experience as a Master intern at the University of Twente, where they conducted an experimental study on drop impingement on superhydrophobic micropattern substrates using non-Newtonian fluids.

Marine's most recent position was as an EDA Developer at INTENTO DESIGN, which they started in 2015. However, specific information regarding the roles and responsibilities they held at this company is not provided.

Marine Guémas has a strong educational background in the field of Physics. Between 2006 and 2008, Marine pursued a DEUG degree in Physics and Chemistry at Université de Rennes I. Building on this foundation, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at the same institution from 2008 to 2009. Marine further advanced their studies by obtaining a Master's degree in Physics from Université de Rennes I between 2009 and 2011.

INTENTO DESIGN

Intento Design provides responsive technology for analog IP. The company was born from 25 years of research aimed at developing a new analog design methodology. This research resulted in an innovative EDA tool ID-Xplore to accelerate specification-driven design of analog circuits. ID-Xplore addresses a productivity gap inherent in the analog design by providing optimal DC bias and sizing through rapid simulation using novel graph-based technology. For complex analog designs, DC bias and sizing, a process which would normally take days or weeks, is completed within minutes. Designer can quickly focus on obtaining final performance optimization as well as completing system-level verification tasks. With ID-Xplore, true technology-independent design is possible. After the design is done once for a given technology, the designer can explore a range of other technologies very quickly. Migration tasks required are significantly reduced. ID-Xplore works with schematic-centric design flows, enabling designers to keep their current workflow intact. ID-Xplore addition IDX-PVT further accelerates analog design by automating the PVT corners analysis and verification. Intento Design introduced ID-Substrate, a sign-off and verification tool, in 2019. ID-Substrate detects parasitic effects that are normally not found before fabrication. The tool thoroughly checks all the layers of the substrate, and a designer has a chance to go back to the layout or even schematic and eliminate substrate failure risks before tape-out, while the cost is still insignificant. Indispensable for Smart Power ICs, ID-Substrate can also be used to verify if further area reduction is possible without inducing reliability risks. ID-Substrate new extension, IDS-NanoFitter, available in early 2021, eliminates the need for empirical measurements and test structures, making this tool set even more attractive for fabless and design houses and further accelerating time-to-market.
