Arturo Vergara

Arturo Vergara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, planning, and consulting across various sectors, including telecommunications and technology. Currently serving as the Lead Specialist for Strategy Planning and Monitoring at the Inter-American Development Bank since July 2022, Arturo has previously held significant roles such as Chief of Staff and Strategy for Customer Resiliency at Capital One and Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group. With a solid academic background, including a Ph.D. in Communication Technologies and Systems and an MBA from Georgetown University, Arturo has also contributed to startups and investment initiatives through roles at InSITE, Revolution LLC, and Amazon. Furthermore, Arturo's early career includes serving as a Policy Adviser to the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Society in Spain.
