Zachary Lappen

Zachary Lappen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Zachary began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Phoenix Controls in 2012, where they designed and machined air system parts and performed testing. In 2013, they served as an Engineering Intern at Wrobel Engineering, where they wrote programs for CNC CMM machines and developed strategies to increase productivity.

Lappen then joined Infinera in 2014 as a Component Engineer, responsible for managing components and coordinating quality reviews. Zachary later served as an Interim Quality Review Board Coordinator, showcasing their ability to take on additional responsibilities.

In 2016, Lappen moved to CSA Medical Inc as a Systems Engineer I and gradually progressed to the role of Senior Project Engineer. Their notable achievements include leading cross-functional systems development projects, presenting new products to key stakeholders, and collaborating with contract manufacturers.

Their most recent experience is at Intera Oncology Inc, where they have held roles such as Technical Operations Lead, Associate Director of Technical Operations, and currently, Director of Operations and Engineering.

Zachary Lappen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Lafayette College from 2010 to 2014. Zachary Lappen's MBA program started in 2019 and is expected to conclude in 2023. In May 2022, they also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
