Karen Deng has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Karen most recently worked at Interac Corp., where they held the position of Director of Strategy & Innovation from July 2021 onwards. Karen Deng has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Environmental Studies from Queen's University. Karen also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Victoria. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Workplace Mental Health Leadership Certificate from Queen's University, the Negotiations - Executive Programs Certificate from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, and the Credentialed Evaluator certification from the Canadian Evaluation Society. Karen also holds certifications in Project Management from the University of Toronto and Standard First Aid with CPR C + AED from St. John Ambulance | St. John Council for Ontario. Furthermore, Karen has the Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS2: CORE) Certification from the Panel on Research Ethics Canada.
