Jacob Aronoff is an experienced software engineer and tech lead currently serving as a Maintainer for the opentelemetry-operator project at OpenTelemetry since February 2023, while also holding the position of Staff Software Engineer at Lightstep since September 2021, focusing on Kubernetes telemetry. Previously, Jacob directed hackNY.org's hackathons, mentored fellows, and actively contributed to various tech organizations like Drift, where Jacob migrated core chat infrastructure to Kubernetes, and Datadog, enhancing distributed systems.
