Carlos Bernardes

Carlos Bernardes is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in technical operations and support within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of Technical Operations for EMEA at Interactive Brokers since October 2019, Carlos oversees the EU Operations Team, managing major issue escalations and acting as a subject matter expert in production issues. Prior roles include Technical Operations Team Leader and Specialist at Interactive Brokers, IT Solutions Specialist at COFCO International, and Service Operations Team Leader and Analyst at Euronext. Carlos began a career in technology with a trainee position at konkconsulting, focusing on application localization. Carlos holds a Licentiate degree in Network and Computer Systems Engineering from Universidade do Porto, completed in 2017.
