Madhuri Ravi

Madhuri Ravi has extensive experience in the field of tax and information reporting. Madhuri began their career at PwC as a Tax Attorney, specializing in State and Local Tax. Madhuri later joined Rath, Young and Pignatelli, PC as a Tax Attorney before moving on to HarbourVest Partners, where they acted as the lead tax counsel for a global private equity firm. At HarbourVest Partners, they provided guidance on state and local tax matters and optimized tax strategies across all 50 states. Madhuri then joined the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation as a Tax Attorney, focusing on international taxation issues and tax relief services. Madhuri then joined EY as a Tax Attorney, specializing in Informational Withholding and Reporting for the Financial Services Office. Currently, Madhuri holds the position of Global Head of Information Reporting and Tax Withholding at Interactive Brokers, where they serve as a principal tax advisor to the C-Suite. In this role, they guide strategic tax decisions, manages corporate and information reporting and withholding compliance across all jurisdictions, and oversees global tax reporting and withholding for financial transaction taxes. Madhuri is also an expert in tax transformation and tax technology.

Madhuri Ravi holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative British and American History and Politics from the University of Oxford. Madhuri also has a BA in Political Science and Art History from Boston University and a JD from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. Additionally, they pursued an LLM in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law. Madhuri completed their high school education at Brooks School, obtaining a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
