Willie Engelbrecht is an accomplished technology leader and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, recognized for his ability to quickly master new technologies and frameworks to deliver optimal solutions to both customer and internal business needs.
He began his career with strong roots in legacy system development as a certified Van Zyl and Prichard ELPP COBOL developer, later transitioning into modern platforms as a certified ELPP Java developer, with experience spanning applications, applets, and Java Midlet development for mobile devices. His versatility is further reflected in his self-taught expertise in Delphi, leveraging Borland’s rapid application development tools to create a range of solutions—from business automation and directory service integrations to IT asset auditing systems.
Willie is also a vendor-certified Maconomy M-Script developer, with over 12 years of portal development experience. His work in this space includes creating a world-class IT Services module within Maconomy that successfully competed with Gartner-endorsed systems. He has applied agile software development methodologies on a large scale, leading significant transitions and delivering measurable results.
