Steve S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Steve began their career in 1999 as a Controls Start-up Technician at Coe Newnes, where they worked until 2006. Steve then joined West Fraser Timber Co Ltd as an Electrician and later became an Electrical Supervisor from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, Steve joined Interfor, where they held various roles, including Process Controls Supervisor, Project Superintendent, Manager of Capital Projects, and General Manager of Capital Projects. Most recently, they have served as the Vice President of Capital Projects at Interfor since August 2017.
Steve S. attended Cariboo College from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Computer Automated System Technician (CAST). Additionally, they have certifications such as PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in June 2014), CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2013), and MCPM - Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria (obtained in 2013).
