Chasity Watkins, BSN, RN, CCM, COS-C has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Shoe Supervisor at Kohl's Department Stores until 2004. Chasity then transitioned to the healthcare field, joining Blanchard Valley Health System in 2005. At Blanchard Valley, they served as an RN/LPN/STNA, working as a floor nurse on a dementia unit and in assisted living. Chasity was also responsible for orders, scheduling doctor appointments, and assessments. In 2010, they were promoted to Home Health Clinical Manager at Blanchard Valley, a role they held until 2017. In 2017, Chasity joined Interim HealthCare RMC and Interim HealthCare Inc. in various leadership positions. Chasity served as the Corporate Director of Clinical Services and Informatics and the Corporate Director of Performance Improvement at Interim HealthCare RMC. Additionally, at Interim HealthCare Inc., they held the role of Regional Performance Improvement Manager.
Chasity Watkins, BSN, RN, CCM, COS-C has a comprehensive education history in the field of nursing. Chasity earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ohio University in 2012-2013, where they focused their studies on Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate degree in Nursing from Rhodes State College from 2008 to 2010. Chasity also holds a Diploma in LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) which they earned from Brown Mackie College-Findlay in 2004-2005.
In addition to their educational achievements, Chasity has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In January 2020, they became COS-C (Home Health OASIS certified) through OASIS Answers, Inc. Chasity also holds the certification of Integrated Care Management-trainer, obtained in August 2016. Chasity further holds the title of Certified Case Manager, which they achieved in September 2017 through the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).
