Klaver Peter currently serves as the Head of the Centre for Research and Knowledge Transfer at the Interkantonale Hochschule für Heilpädagogik Zürich since July 2023. Peter has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey since September 2015, specializing in the biological basis of human memory and working memory. Peter is also a Privatdozent at the University of Zurich, where research includes neural mechanisms in children and adolescents. Previous roles include Head of Research and Development Centre at HfH University of Teacher Education in Special Needs, and various postdoctoral fellowships at University Children's Hospital Zurich, University Hospital Bonn, and University Hospital Magdeburg. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Magdeburg and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Groningen.
