Shayna L. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in human rights research and advocacy, currently serving as a Research Assistant at the International Center for Transitional Justice since November 2022, leading a project on transitional justice and mental health. Previously, Shayna earned a Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University, where a thesis focused on Darfurian perspectives on transitional justice was completed. Roles have included consulting on climate change and business human rights at ALTSEAN-Burma, interning with Human Rights Watch's UN Advocacy Team, and managing high-level events for the University of Exeter Diplomatic Hub.
