Christopher Mason

Christopher Mason has over 15 years of experience in journalism and communications, currently serving as a Senior Public Affairs Advisor in Corporate Strategy and Senior Writer at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) since April 2016. Prior to this role, Mason was a Communications Officer at CAWST and held various editorial positions at Business Spectator, Journalists for Human Rights, and Financial Times. Mason's early career includes reporting roles with The New York Times and local Canadian publications. A graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Journalism, Mason has built a diverse skill set across public affairs, writing, and media training.
