Andrew Redden is a seasoned Economic & Tourism Development Manager at Hastings County, having held this position since August 2007. With a strong track record in managing economic and tourism development services, Andrew prepares and oversees departmental budgets, conducts in-depth research for economic development plans, and has received recognition for an investment marketing strategy. Andrew's leadership contributed to significant job growth and business expansion within Hastings County during challenging economic times. Additionally, Andrew is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) and holds the prestigious Fellowship designation (Ec.D.)(F) from the Economic Developers Association of Canada, being one of the few individuals with both this fellowship and the Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation. Andrew’s earlier experiences include roles with the Municipality of Centre Hastings and Trenval Business Development Corporation, and educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Rural Planning & Development from the University of Guelph.
