Liana Ghukasyan

Liana Ghukasyan boasts extensive experience in humanitarian and organizational roles, primarily with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since April 2008. Currently serving as Special Advisor to the President, Liana has held various leadership positions, including Deputy Head of Delegation to the United Nations and Senior Executive Officer in the Office of the IFRC Secretary General. Responsibilities have included coordinating significant projects like TRACECA, collaborating with national stakeholders, and providing governance support. Prior to IFRC, Liana contributed to the Armenian Red Cross as Head of International Relations and held several roles focused on planning and reporting. Liana's education includes a Master's degree in English and Spanish Languages from The Yerevan State Linguistic University, complemented by a certificate from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
