Manuel Rueda

Manuel Rueda is a seasoned freelance journalist and filmmaker with extensive experience covering Colombia for various international news outlets such as TRT World, PRI World, NPR, and Business Insider since April 2017. Rueda also serves as a stringer for The Associated Press, producing video and text reports on significant breaking news and social issues in Colombia and Venezuela. Additionally, work includes writing and video production for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, focusing on humanitarian stories, as well as producing content for Business Insider's series. Prior experience includes roles with Univision and Thomson Reuters, along with a strong academic background in journalism from Columbia University and international relations from the University of Virginia.
