Panu Saaristo

Panu Saaristo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency health management. Since May 2010, Panu has served as the Regional Manager for Health and Care at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), leading a team of Emergency Health experts to provide technical support across 192 National Societies. Prior to this role, Panu held several positions at IFRC, including Director a.i., Emergency Medical Services Senior Officer, and Emergency Health Coordinator. Panu's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from the University of Geneva, a Master of Science in Disaster Relief Healthcare, and a Master of Science in Disaster Health from Ulster University, along with a Certificate in Humanitarian Assistance from Uppsala University and ongoing studies for a Doctor of Business Administration at the Swiss School of Business and Management.
