Peter Schwarcz

Peter Schwarcz is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in cloud and virtualization technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud and Virtualization Officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since September 2023, Peter has previously held positions such as Infrastructure Support Engineer at Amgen and Windows System Administrator at Cognizant. Throughout a career spanning over a decade, Peter has developed expertise in managing Active Directory, Azure environments, and application support, along with hands-on experience in system administration and troubleshooting across various platforms. Peter is currently pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Data Science at The Open University, building upon an academic foundation that includes degrees in Network and System Administration, Computer Operations, and Jewish Studies.
