Nazifa Alizada

Nazifa Alizada is an experienced professional currently serving as the Outreach and Events Coordinator in the Secretary-General's Office at International IDEA since November 2022. In this role, Nazifa developed project management strategies from the ground up, enhancing communication and collaboration with Member States and stakeholders. Previously, Nazifa worked as a Program Manager at the V-Dem Institute, where responsibilities included coordinating an annual data collection cycle involving 3,700 country experts. Other notable positions include Administrative Assistant at the University of Gothenburg, Editor In Chief at The Society of International Affairs Gothenburg, Project Assistant at the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research, and Research Assistant at the Ford Foundation. Nazifa holds a Master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the Asian University for Women, with double minors in Gender Studies and Asian Studies.
