Monika Bauer

Monika Bauer has over a decade of experience in partnership management and development within international organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Collaborative Projects and Partnerships at Future Earth since February 2023, Monika oversees horizon scanning initiatives related to climate change and biodiversity science, contributing insights for the European Commission's Horizon Europe Work Program while affiliated with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). Monika has held various roles at IIASA since May 2009, including Liaison and Partnership Officer, Network and Alumni Officer, and Development Officer. Earlier experiences include positions as a Researcher and Sales Associate at Berlin In Your Pocket and Special Events Assistant at Harris County Hospital District Foundation. Monika holds a BA in Marketing and Business Administration from Texas A&M University and an MA in European Studies from Jagiellonian University.
