Ivona Gorunescu

Ivona Gorunescu currently serves as the Accounting and Finance Manager for the European Anti-Trafficking Program at International Justice Mission since May 2024. Previously, Ivona held the position of Grants Finance Manager at World Vision Romania from May 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included providing strategic financial guidance to the National Director and Strategic Leadership Team. Ivona's extensive experience at World Vision, spanning from December 2006 to April 2022 as Finance Director, involved engaging with the Board Finance & Audit Committee and contributing to the organization's strategic initiatives. Prior to that, Ivona was the Finance & General Services Director at Washington E&C Romania from December 1996 to December 2006, overseeing all accounting and finance functions. Ivona holds a Finance-Banking degree from the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest and has pursued higher education at Universitatea Ecologica Bucharest since 1999.
