Loraine Alterman Boyle

Loraine Alterman Boyle joined the IMF board after her husband, famed actor Peter Boyle, passed away from myeloma in 2006. She began chairing the IMF’s annual Comedy Celebration benefiting the Peter Boyle Research Fund in 2007. She enlisted his Everybody Loves Raymond co-star, Ray Romano, as the host of the comedy show. A former rock journalist for publications like Rolling Stone and The New York Times, she has also co-produced Broadway shows like Memphis, Beautiful, Mothers & Sons, and Ain’t Too Proud: The Life & Times of the Temptations.
