Hidayat Jaya AMd., SM., M.Mar.E has a range of work experiences that span various industries and roles. In 2019, they served as the Chairman of the DPC KSPSI Kab. Luwu for the Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja seluruh indonesia. Hidayat also held the position of Vice Chairman of the DPD RTMM Sul-Sel for the Serikat pekerja seluruh indonesia. Earlier, in 2018, they worked as the Treasurer General of RDPS DPD sul for Roemahdjoeng RD Sul-Sel. Furthermore, they have experience in the maritime industry, where they have held positions such as Chief Engineer at Seaways International in 2015 and Chief Engineer at Pacific towing PNG from 2013 to 2014. Hidayat has also worked as a Branch Head at PT Satria jaya Marine Survey & Contractor in 2014. Prior to that, they held engineering positions at work boat international UAE in 2012, GO MARINE GROUP in 2012, and Strato marine singapore from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they served as a Commissionaire at Majalah NawaCita in 2016.

Hidayat Jaya AMd., SM., M.Mar.E has a history of pursuing education in the field of engine and maritime engineering. Prior to obtaining any specified degree, Hidayat attended Akademi Maritim Indonesia where they completed their Class III Engineer certification. In 2012, they enrolled at Politecnic Marcant Academy to earn their Class II Engineer degree. Subsequently, in 2016, Hidayat attended Polithnik Ilmu Pelayaran Makssar and achieved a Master Marine Engineer degree, specializing in the role of Chief Engineer.
