Jochen Metzinger has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jochen began their career at Popnet Kommunikation in 1999 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2001. Jochen then joined Proximity Group Germany GmbH in 2002 as a Software Engineer, where they remained until 2005. At Proximity Technology GmbH, Jochen held various roles, starting as a Senior Software Developer from 2005 to 2007. Jochen then became the Chief Software Architect from 2007 to 2014, followed by two consecutive stints as a Lead Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2022. Jochen'slatest role at Proximity Technology GmbH was as a Senior Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Jochen is currently working at interone as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2023.
Jochen Metzinger obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg in 1999. In September 2014, they also obtained a certification in MCSD: Web Applications, though the institution is unknown.
