Christian Gorenflo is a Team Lead/Blockchain Engineer at Interop Labs, the initial developer of the Axelar Network. Prior to this role, Christian worked as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Waterloo, focusing on blockchain performance optimization and distributed data management. Christian also worked as a Researcher at IBM, specializing in data privacy for blockchain research. With experience at Objektkultur Software GmbH as an IT Consultant and Student Software Engineer, Christian holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and a Diplom in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
