Richard Gotwe Soumo

Richard GOTWE SOUMO has extensive experience in IT management and program leadership, currently serving as the Head of the WAPIS Programme at INTERPOL since March 2010. In this role, Richard directs a 22-member team on an EU-funded initiative totaling €46M, focusing on strategic outreach and effective budget management. Previous roles at INTERPOL included Head of the Infrastructure Department and Head of the Systems Branch, where Richard successfully oversaw IT infrastructure and system operations for a global network. Earlier experience includes positions at MTN Cameroon, Compagnie Fruitiere Cameroun, and Universite Catholique Afrique Centrale. Richard holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Computer Sciences from Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique and a Master in Management and Business Administration from iaelyon School of Management.
